Who am I?
Tom Ezell is a Computer Consultant and a Computer Support Specialist. His firm is located in Metairie, Louisiana (minutes
away from New Orleans). He and his firm supports an impressive list of clients, in a variety
of ways. The planning of new networks is a favorite, but a typical day of Tom's, consists
of installing new hardware, removing viruses and internet malware, designing and creating web pages,
installing & configuring network devices, configuring wireless networks, setting-up new network
servers, supporting existing networks and providing general consulting and support
services. He works daily with operating environments such as Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 2000/2003 Server.
Background:
Tom Ezell has been working in the computer industry for over 30 years, with the past
27 years being involved extensively with PCs utilizing Microsoft operating systems (us oldtimers refering to them as IBM PCs and compatibles).
Tom became involved with desktop computing prior to the introduction of the famed "IBM PC". He has been in the computer industry during the
PC revolution; with first hand experience and even received certification in the repair of such classic systems as the Apple ][ , Osborne, IBM and Kaypro computers.
Before becoming self-employed,
Tom had the opportunity to work in a variety of computer related positions, including that
of computer operator, programmer, systems programmer, systems analyst, assistant data
processing manager, and as a computer repair technician/manager. Each of these positions
provided him with the essential skills needed for his current role.
Many of Tom's clients have been depending upon his expertise for well over 20 years! His current list of clients include law firms, accounting firms, doctors, real estate
management companies, architects, building & electrical contractors, financial planners, food
service organizations, horse farms, real estate managment companies, several real estate appraisal companies and many professional individuals.
Tom was born and raised in New Orleans and has been a Jefferson Parish resident since 1982. While his firm has a Metairie location, Tom is currently a resident of Kenner, Louisiana.
Tom is the father of two adult girls and has one grand-daughter.
